The Model Green Station at Ramwadi Metro is a revolutionary initiative that blends sustainability, functionality, and beauty, creating an eco-friendly public space. The installation of waterless urinals conserves 80-100 liters of water per unit daily, redefining sanitation with sustainability. The power of walls comes alive through vibrant, message – driven artwork that inspires environmental consciousness.
Urinals are a major source of wasted water as they typically flush even when they are not being used. An uncontrolled flush can waste around 200-300 cubic metres of water per year . Urinals account for a significant portion of indoor water usage in commercial and institutional settings .
The international Youth and Sustainability festival, 2024 was a two-day conclave that provided students and researchers with a common platform to explore, discuss and present their thoughtful insights , innovative ideas and solutions in front of a resourceful panel and contribute productively towards common chosen goals . The themes chosen for the conclave were: Environmental Conservation , Social Inclusion, and Good Governance.


Engaging in regular physical activity, such as running, not only enhances overall health but also serves as a preventive measure against the adverse effects of tobacco use. The CIG-RID-THON was a marathon event that helped raising awareness about smoking and tobacco consumption as these are major public health concerns, leading to serious health issues, including various cancers, cardiovascular diseases, and respiratory problems.
The term "Green Mobility Fest" encompasses various events worldwide that promote sustainable transportation solutions. Green mobility initiatives are gaining momentum worldwide, with various events and festivals dedicated to promoting sustainable transportation solutions.
Neerathon is a running event focused on promoting water conservation and fostering community engagement through sports and fitness activities. The event brings together participants from various walks of life to support the cause of water conservation while promoting a healthy lifestyle.



In February 2024 and March 2025, ExploreiT organized a "Nature's Trail and Heritage Walk" at Deccan College in Pune. This event offered participants an immersive experience, combining the exploration of local biodiversity with insights into the historical significance of the institution. Guided nature trails allowed attendees to appreciate the diverse flora and fauna of the campus, while heritage walks provided a deep dive into the rich cultural legacy of Deccan College.
Under its CSR initiatives, Exploreit has successfully created "Amrutvan,". a thriving fruit garden designed to promote sustainability and food security. This project not only enhances green cover but also provides a source of fresh fruits, supports biodiversity, and fosters community engagement through eco-friendly practices.
Green celebrations generally focus on sustainability and environmental consciousness. Such initiatives may include tree planting drives to enhance green cover, workshops on sustainability covering topics like waste management and energy conservation, and community clean-up campaigns to promote responsibility toward the environment. Additionally, eco-friendly festivals using sustainable materials, as well as green competitions such as eco-art projects or sustainable innovation challenges, can encourage wider participation.



Net-zero campuses aim to balance their energy consumption with renewable energy production, achieving a neutral carbon footprint. Universities worldwide are adopting strategies to transition to net-zero, such as developing carbon-neutral master plans and optimizing space utilization to reduce energy consumption.
Eco-Action-Camp : In January 2025, ExploreiT successfully conducted the EcoAction Camp, a 14-day immersive study tour for counselors from Ladakh, including senior policymakers. This initiative focused on waste management, water conservation, and livelihood generation, equipping participants with practical insights and solutions for sustainable development.
Faculty development programs equip educators with the latest teaching methodologies, pedagogical strategies, and assessment techniques. This leads to more engaging, effective, and student-centered learning experiences.

A sustainability audit is a systematic evaluation of an organization's environmental, social, and economic performance to assess its sustainability efforts and identify areas for improvement. It helps organizations understand their impact, measure progress towards sustainability goals, and ensure accountability.
