At ExploreiT, we have successfully organized and executed numerous large-scale events in the fields of sustainability and research in Pune, Maharashtra. Here are some of our flagship projects:

Cleanup Drives
Swachh Viman Nagar Campaign: On October 2nd, organized by the Viman Nagar Resident Alliance, we mobilized over 600 volunteers to clean and paint walls.
Lohagad Fort Trek: On November 21, 2019, as part of the 24 Hours of Reality campaign by Climate Reality India, we organized a cleaning drive and trek at Lohagad with over 110 students to raise climate change awareness.
Sarasbaug Cleanup: On December 7, 2019, we volunteered with Lemnion Green Solutions and PMC for the ecological restoration of the Sarasbaug pond, focusing on removing foreign plant growth to improve marine life.
Bombay Sappers Colony: On January 12, 2020, in collaboration with the Pune Municipal Corporation and Viman Nagar Resident Alliance, we organized a cleanup drive with over 150 volunteers.
Green Mobility Fest
On December 15, 2019, we partnered with the Climate Reality Project and Pune Municipal Corporation to organize the Green Mobility Fest, promoting “Green Urban Mobility” with an expo featuring cycles, electric vehicles, and smart solutions. Activities included:
- Plogathon: 6km Fun Run and 3km Green Run
- Cyclothon: 8km rides with own cycles or provided cycles
- Challenges: Push-up and Plank Challenges with trophies and certificates
SDG Festivals
On January 26, 2020, ExploreiT hosted ‘PAHAL – The Viman Nagar Carnival’ at Symbiosis, Viman Nagar, in association with Pune Municipal Corporation and Viman Nagar Resident Association. This eco-responsible festival focused on Carbon Neutrality with initiatives such as reusable cutlery, a solar energy workshop, and themed competitions, marking a successful start to the year.
